                   Mon-Yough Chapter YouTube Channel

I am pleased to announce that the Mon-Yough Chapter will begin posting video recordings of our monthly talks and other events of historical and archaeological interest.

The first posting is a recording of talk by Joyce Toth-Stewart, and describes a project she is overseeing in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The title of her talk was A Walk Back in Time. Her presentation describes and explains the concept and creation of the Uniontown Historic Walking Tour. Visitors can stop by historical structures and scan the QR Code located on any of the buildings listed as part of the walking tour. The QR code contains information about the history of the structure. Joyce got the idea while visiting locations in New England which had developed similar walking tours.

The project was funded with a grant from The Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau

The address for the YouTube connection is listed below. Please let your friends know about our new site. Thanks and enjoy!.
